It always seems to be that, in the summer, we think about our feet, they are on display more, right! The flip flops are out and we make sure they are beach ready, looking soft and healthy with a beautiful polish on to make them attractive.

The painting of toe nails can be traced back to 1800s, but i am glad that we no longer practice this with oils! In the 1920s and 1930s it was a sign of status and cleanliness, leaving the moon of your nails exposed. Over time these trends have changed and people love to have their nails and toenails painted for reasons that are as simple as making themselves feel good, sorry for the men out there, it is not all about you!!

Some women will get a pedicure all year round and others feel that because they are covered in the winter, there is no need for it, but in my opinion there is nothing better than getting a good pedicure. The relaxing foot soak, creams and scrubs, all smelling like you want to eat them. The scrubbing of the foot file and the softness that it leaves is nothing better, your walking on air for the majority of travelling home. But what makes a Great Pedicure and why should you have one?

For me, I think a great pedicure has something to do with the way you feel after it and also the time during it to be able to relax. We mainly think about our nails on our hands and how they may come across to other people, but we bypass the toenails unless they are on display in the summer or you have the hot date at the weekend. Did you know that the feet is connected to every part of your body. Reflexology is something that also can get overlooked, but this is based on the theory that your feet are connected to various parts of the body and body organs. For example your toes are connected to the brain, head, nose, eyes, sinuses etc and you can sometimes see that a person may have trouble with these areas. Maybe they are an overthinker or they get headaches a lot, this can show in the way their toes are. The heal of your foot is your lumbar region or Gluteal area, the outer side of your foot could be your armpit or arm. All of these different areas on the foot could be showing other areas of your body that might need a little help, whether that’s from a professional like a GP or whether you just need to take a little care of yourself.

In a world where you have to consider everything in life, like how much money I earn, are my friends the right friends, am I being the perfect mother or wife, the last thing you want to think about is your feet, correct? Well think about it, how often do you use them, is it everyday, every week, every month? I know, it is a completely ridiculous question because we use our feet all the time, from the moment you are born your feet help you to achieve things that would be never think possible, they are with you from start to finish and have walked so many miles in the process. So wouldn’t you want to look after them?

A pedicure is not just about getting your feet all pretty with a nice coloured polish, its about keeping them healthy. From making sure that the toenails are healthy and fungal free, to providing your feet with a well deserved massage to work out all the knots and kinks that could be causing problems for you in the long run.

Our Foot Soufflé and Foot Scrub give your feet and clients feet, the best feeling, We have specifically designed the Foot Soufflé with Diabetics in mind to be able to use on a daily basis to help keep their feet super healthy. Full of fabulous ingredients to keep your feet, soft, supple, and crack free.
